Sharon Tenhundfeld is a recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral player, and educator. Most recently, she has held the titled positions of Principal Viola with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and Civic Orchestra of Chicago. She has also appeared as guest with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and New World Symphony. As a chamber musician, Ms. Tenhundfeld has collaborated with many artists and ensembles such as Yo-Yo Ma, James Buswell, Parker String Quartet, Borromeo String Quartet, rock band Jethro Tull and was former violist of the Elan String Quartet. Ms. Tenhundfeld has also been a member of Boston’s premier new music ensemble, Callithumpian Consort and can be heard on several of their recordings found on Mode Records.
