The Republican Representative of the State of Denial, a regular contender for the title of “Most Corrupt Person in Congress”, was once an “image consultant.” Whatever that is.
Actually, I think I understand. An Image Consultant is someone who will help you manipulate the perceptions of other people so you can get what you want from them. It’s like an advertising agency, but for humans instead of products. Such a person would have developed a professional attitude built on the notion that reality is something which can be glibly twisted for any reason.
Does anyone else see the problem with having such a person serving on the House Energy and Commerce Committee?
Or in politics at all?
